HIKARI
Private testing · Black Star AI
An AI-powered talent intelligence platform.

We built the tool
we'd actually use.

Then argued about it for a year, because we are recruiters and we could not agree on anything else.

No card. No call. No sequence of emails about your hiring journey.

Every AI screening tool will give you a score. Most of them are decent scores, arrived at sensibly, and you can read the reasoning.

None of them can tell you whether the score was right.

Not "here is our reasoning". Right — as in the client saw that person, and here is what they did about it. Knowing that needs three things on the same candidate: the score, your score, and the client's decision. A CV tool has the first. Your ATS has the third. Nothing you own holds all three.

Hikari does. So it will show you where it was wrong, where you were wrong, and the expensive one nobody else can see — when the score was fine and the brief was the problem.

A logo wall. It's us.

This is where everyone puts their customers. We have not got 500 agencies to show you. So here is where the people who built it came from instead, which we think matters more anyway.

Everything we crossed out

You have read a hundred of these pages this year. So had we.

Thirty days. Your roles, your CVs, your clients.

Not a sandbox and not a guided demo. Put a live vacancy through it, send a real shortlist to a real hiring manager, and see what comes back.

After thirty days one of two things is true. Your consultants are still using it, in which case we should talk. Or they have quietly gone back to what they did before — which tells you everything, and costs you nothing.

One reply, from a person. No sequence, no webinar.
Right — you're on the list. We will come back to you to get it set up. If you would rather have a look first, the demo is below.
Or see it working before you hand over an email address. Entirely reasonable.
